I have been a painter for 25 years.

The only thread of consistency in that time is the paint and my deep love of color.

My recent series involves a juxtaposition between abstraction and realism. I dance back and forth between the two with no loyalty to either. How much an image emerges is always a surprise. I like the idea of hidden beauty. Sometimes it is boldly obvious, and sometimes you have to look hard for it.  But. It is always there.
