Why birds? Because...they flit, flutter and fly. They chirp, sing and squawk.  You never know when they will appear or how long they will stay.  Sometimes they sit for a little while.  Then they leave without warning. That is exactly like me!  

 

I have always preferred to paint single subjects at a time.  I think it’s my way of pushing the viewer to pay attention to one thing, even but for a moment.  I find there is more than enough breathtaking beauty in each part of God’s creation for us to linger indefinitely...IF we will just slow down enough to enjoy it...said the woman who flits and flies through life...
