My ceramics, inspired by Florida’s nature coast is colorful, unique, and just a little offbeat!

I fell in love with the earthiness and expressiveness of ceramics as a college student in Chapel Hill, North Carolina.  Now, after a career in financial management, I am exploring my passion for pottery by making pieces myself. I work out of San Antonio Pottery near my home in Florida as well as my garage.  I love hand building with clay and find inspirations all around me- in my garden, in the woods, and at the beach. 

I also find I can add natural elements, like cypress branches and seashells, to my ceramics to additional tie my creations to nature.  Flowers, birds, and figurines are whimsically created and capture the essences of the people and places, both real and from folklore, that have touched my life.
