OUT OF OUR HANDS GALLERY welcomes submissions from Florida artists for our TwelveByTwelveByTwelve exhibition. This juried competition is seeking artworks of any medium and subject*. Whether 2D or 3D, the works MUST be no larger than 12x12 inches in any direction. No exceptions!
REQUIREMENTS:
OUT OF OUR HANDS GALLERY invites submissions from artists across Florida in all mediums and styles and subjects*, within the measurements of 12"x12"x12".
Works submitted are to have been created within the past year, and will be juried into the show by the owners of the gallery, for creativity, craftsmanship, and originality. All works entered must be original. No giclee or ink jet prints.
*We reserve the right to decline any works that are overtly political, sexual, or created for shock value. This gallery has regular visits from families with small children. Our gallery collection is mindful of our clientele, and we find joy in seeing young people inspired by our artists and their expressions of beauty and whimsy through fine art.
2D work: Must be ready to hang with wire.
No sawtooth hangers. Gallery wrapped 12x12 canvases with finished edges are acceptable. Non-gallery wrap canvas or paper should be framed no larger than 12x12 outside dimension. 2D art on wood is allowed with edges finished and wire hanger.
3D work: Stands or bases are allowed when needed and will be returned to the artist.

October 9th: Notification of acceptance by midnight
October 10th to 24th: Accepted artwork due at gallery.

SALES
All accepted artwork must be for sale.
Our commission split is 60/40.
The Artist receives 60% of the sales price.

A selected group of artists currently represented by Out of Our Hands Gallery.
AWARDS
One 1st place: $500
One 2nd place: $300
One 3rd place: $200
All exhibiting artists become eligible to become represented by Out of Our Hands Gallery IF both the owners and the artists agree on pursuing the relationship. This decision will be made by the owners based on interest and need.
RECEPTION
Saturday, November 7th, 6-9pm at Our of Our Hands Gallery. This will be a catered event with live music (of course!). Artists are strongly encouraged to attend and bring family and friends.
DELIVERY OF ARTWORK
The artist is responsible for covering shipping or delivery expenses to the gallery. If an artist wishes to have their artwork shipped back to them after the exhibition concludes, they must provide a prepaid shipping return label.

Out of Our Hands Gallery regarding the usage rights of submitted artwork:
- By submitting their artwork to any competition hosted on our website (outofourhandsgallery.com), artists acknowledge and agree to the terms outlined herein.
- Out of Our Hands Gallery is authorized to utilize the submitted images solely for marketing, promotional, and display purposes related to competition.

The artist grants permission for Out of Our Hands Gallery to archive selected artwork as part of the exhibition, which will be publicly accessible for viewing on our website.
- The artist retains all copyrights to any images they submit to Out of Our Hands Gallery.

Submitted images shall not be resold or exchanged from the website. Any images displayed on the website or within the gallery may not be reproduced or used in any manner without explicit permission from Out of Our Hands Gallery and the respective artist.
- No insurance is provided for any artwork in the exhibit and is the sole responsibility of the artists. Submission of work constitutes an agreement in which the artist agrees to hold harmless Out of Our Hands Gallery from any liability in connection with the works of art while on exhibit except for gross negligence.
All boxes in the application form must be completed and the boxed checked, for accepting the Terms and Conditions at the end of the form to proceed to payment.
ENTRY FEES
The entry fee per artwork is $15 for a single entry, additional entries are $10 each.
Artists may submit up to 3 entries. None, one, or all may be chosen for the exhibition
All fees are NON-REFUNDABLE.
IMAGE REQUIREMENTS - IMPORTANT!!
JPG Files should be titled in the following format:
Artist's Name, Art Title, Dimensions, Price (all entries must be for sale, no NSF permitted.)
- Image size should be up to 2.0 MB in JPG format
- Image should be cropped and not contain any frame, mat, backgrounds, or watermark.
- IMAGES SHOULD BE SHARP, NOT BLURRED.
**Images that do not follow this format will not be considered for the juried competition**
